Microsoft and BBC Worldwide have just announced the launch of the first Doctor Who game bot on Skype: Doctor Who: The Saviour of Time.

Doctor Who: The Saviour of Time

The Saviour of Time is an exciting interactive digital experience where players will get the thrilling chance to be the Doctor’s companion in a specially written six-part Doctor Who adventure. In it, players can now go on their own adventure in space and time from the very comfort of their own machine. Alongside the 12th Doctor, Bill, and Nardole, you must find six pieces of the Key of Time, “an ancient and powerful artifact that could decide the fate of the universe.” These pieces are found after six different levels, with only the first one currently available. The rest of the pieces will be launched over the coming weeks.

Features

Doctor Who: The Saviour of Time features exclusive voice-overs from 12th Doctor Peter Capaldi and it’s developed by Joe Lidster. And, for the first time ever, players will experience direct communication with the Doctor to help with challenges, quizzes, and logic puzzles, all these revolving around the search for the mysterious artifact.

Five Doctor Who-themed Mojis

Along with the new game you’re also able to enjoy five Doctor Who-themed mojis that coincide with the new season of the show. Two of these include the new companion Bill, two of them include Nardole and the last is the Doctor himself.

The Doctor Who Bot can be purchased from the Skype Bot directory in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Republic of Ireland, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia, Portugal, Russia, Mexico, and Brazil.
