Microsoft and Intel promised they would continue to release security and driver updates for existing Huawei products.

This piece of news comes as a breath of fresh air after the U.S. Department of Commerce’s decision to ban American companies from working with Huawei.

Microsoft made a groundbreaking revelation when it spotted a backdoor in Huawei’s Matebook X devices.

Huawei refused to accept the accusations of spying on its users and patches the vulnerability in January 2019. The U.S Government took extreme steps and banned Huawei products.

Trump Administration prevented companies from working with Huawei by adding the company to the Chinese trade blacklist.
