Folks who have been using Microsoft Office apps for the longest while should know about Clipart. This feature has been around since the dawn of time, and it is all about allowing users to add images to their document or blog posts.

Well, it won’t be around for much longer since good ole Microsoft decided to partner with Pickit, an image back that is designed to do the same thing as Clipart. The thing is, this app is expected to do it better, and from what have seen in the video, it surely has.

Pickit is a program that gathers photos from professional image banks across the web, and its vast community of photographers. By doing this, all images are available in a centralize spot, and all have the legal clearance for users to download and use.

Rob Howard, director, Office 365 Ecosystem, had the following to say:

“Microsoft customers benefit from being able to find shots that possess an individuality and creativity not found in standard stock images; adding genuine authenticity to their work. People who can’t find a particular image can send a ‘Photo Mission’ request to Pickit’s community of photographers, who are briefed on the exact needs of the user, and can submit their work in response. Anyone can upload content onto the Pickit platform, regardless of their photographic experience.” According to the Pickit team, in a recent press release

We as Windows and Office users are quite happy about this move, but at the end of the day, we’d still need to have access to Clipart just in case Pickit ever fails to work. We see no reason to completely do away with Clipart, but putting it on the sidelines should pose no problem.

“With its integration into Office, Pickit is supplying customers with quality images from directly within the Office applications they use every day, across a variety of platforms.”

If the advices above haven’t solved your issue, your PC may experience deeper Windows problems. We recommend downloading this PC Repair tool (rated Great on TrustPilot.com) to easily address them. After installation, simply click the Start Scan button and then press on Repair All.
